If my today`s thoughts are the script for tomorrow I keep on dreaming!
The truth is: I am a dreamer and some years back I thought I should change. Today I know the one thing I want to change is sticking to negative thoughts in case I do so. Dreaming is essential to visualize and create a inner picture and feeling of what makes your heart beat higher. If you can lift yourself into a good vibration you are already enjoying the goal you are dreaming of.
In Walking we use this positive dream picture of ourselves. It is easy, fun and effective to go vigorously, relaxed and balanced for one hour. It has a tremendous effect on your wellbeing as long as you stick to the enjoyment of the moment and stick to positive thoughts. It shows in your posture and vibrancy. You are strong and powerful during the Walk.
If emotions are coloring for life, I prefer the bright colors….
Yet, without black, no white, I guess. How coping with unpleasant, threatening, fearful situations?
A message, the transmitting of an information is enough to cause a stroke in some people….
Being aware that emotions are nothing but a current state of the “emotional body” or shade of the present being helps.
Some teachers talk about “changing the thought” or “flip-switching” in order to stop an ugly emotion to take over your overall being downwards as a result of a thought or an information.
This is how I intent to stay positive during difficult times: I know that I am not the emotion. I also allow myself to put the original problem that caused the emotion aside for a certain period of time, being confident, the problem will not run away, I will be able to take care of it in a little while…… During this time I focus on either meditation, auto-hypnosis, some relaxation technique or Walking Meditation to clear my mind. Sometimes, before voluntarily addressing the original problem, a solution comes up in my mind. The moment I allow myself to focus on relaxation, I am open for new possibilities and solutions. If I stick to fear, anger, problem-thinking, I limit possibilities for different solutions.
Get your i-pod ready with inspirational audio programmes and uplifting music that makes your heart beat higher and put your sneakers right next to the door. Whenever you realize some negative thoughts or feelings related to lack of light, cold weather, lows take a quick decision: Just do it without thinking twice: out there and move your body!!! You may jog or walk, as long and intense as you feel like, just do it!
This is how I do it: winter in Mallorca is smooth and yet humid. Those days I felt uncomfortable – bones feel humidity, circulation slow, cold hands, thinking: gosh, winter is coming! So I take my i-pod, put my jogging shoes on and go out there – what counts is that I do it today, no matter how long, intense, walk or jog.
In case you don’t manage yet, no problem!! You have just realized that your mind is sabotaging you by finding excuses.
And that is a great step!!!

Spirituality plays a central role in self-help movements such as Alcoholics Anonymous: “…if an alcoholic failed to perfect and enlarge his spiritual life through work and self-sacrifice for others, he could not survive the certain trials and low spots ahead….”
If spirituality is understood as the search for or the development of inner peace or the foundations of happiness, then spiritual practice of some kind is essential for personal well being. This activity may or may not include belief in supernatural beings. If one has such a belief and feels that relationship to such beings is the foundation of happiness then spiritual practice will be pursued on that basis: if one has no such belief spiritual practice is still essential for the management and understanding of thoughts and emotions which otherwise prevent happiness. Many techniques and practices developed and explored in religious contexts, such as meditation, are immensely valuable in themselves as skills for managing health and aspects of the inner life.
From fantasy to creativity and development a large step is missing: Action – the courage to make the things differently. To commit an error means to expose yourself to possible new problems, setback and to be rejected. Thus we prefer not to change and not improve easily. However, errors and problems offer the actual learning chances. In this sense: Courage for change!

You know these situations: you just can’t fool yourself – you are annoyed and you have a good reason to be annoyed. Your mind focused on the issue, you feel accordingly and you don’t want to fool yourself, pretend it wouldn’t bother you.
How about this: remember your mind is an “organ” it is not yourself – a thinking device. Your emotions are a “chemical reaction” reaction to that something that bothered you. And now comes your “true self” this unique energy, essence of you - imagine, you are more than body and mind and you are not the horse but the rider that can decide and direct in every moment to change. It is not easy because we tend to identify with our thoughts and feelings, but it works!
The day your health forces you to stop involuntarily you find out: we have all the same amount of time.
Say NO if it makes sense and take a break voluntarily! In order to be able to prioritize you need some distance from your duties. A 5-10 minute break is enough to go outside, get some fresh air, breath deeply, open you eyes and get a clear mind: What is really important and urgent right now and here in my situation?
Giving over 1000 Coaching sessions I suggest: more short breaks and NO’s are VERY beneficial for your health, professional success, relationship and liver

3. Feel like you would feel, if you had already succeeded in this new habit, imagine the feeling – now
4. Observe: still feeling how good it feels with the not-yet-but-about-to-be new habit?
If not so: STOP feeling bad about yourself and start at 1.
