Take a break!

Take a break regularly!

Even 5 minutes is better than nothing.
Why not allow yourself to enjoy 5 Minutes outside, relax your mind and refresh the system?
You may go for a little walk and stretch your legs. Your body will be grateful on the long term.

From being stuck in problem thinking to focus on ¨the light inside¨

If you find yourself stuck in problem thinking in all kind of problems over and over again it is time to reset. Good health, money, work, contentment, inner peace, energy, motivation, good relationships are out there, yet, you might have to switch your attitude, level of energy, expectation and focus to a positive setting. Tuned in into a negative ¨radio station¨ you send and receive negativity.

How can we tune into a positive vibration after having been conditioned in a certain way and probably experienced, taught or inherited negativity? In Asian cultures Meditation is part of their tradition. Learn to shut off the thinking, reprogram the mind and learn to appreciate what is already there.

Manuela Stoerzer Vogt has developed this fun, easy and effective YADUMA Walking Meditation technique to help you shift your focus from what you do not like to your already existing inner beauty and perfection, a place of peace and wellbeing – a practical time and budget friendly meditation tool for Westerners.

Stock Market causing Strokes?

Last week the stock market went down rapidly, the 9th strongest fall, they said. Then yesterday an even bigger drop, the 5th biggest drop. Lots of people lost a lot of money within days. And even more people are very concerned about the world economy and the consequences for world population.

Imagine the mental and physical chain reaction this major issue causes:

Read the paper, hear the news, check the Internet and get this shocking message. Thoughts coming up about the money lost that day, or the influence of this on the national economy and the world as such. A mega worst case scenario might show up, followed by worst case steps to take, rising heart rate and blood pressure, nervousness, maybe sleeplessness, the nervous system may collapse due to this fear of something we cannot directly influence that day.  Certainly, the effects on the stock market has major effects on the health of people, unless we learn to step out of this circle.

Working with thousands of clients I observed that  a client who is afraid of loosing 2 out of 10 million can be exactly as fearful as someone loosing 2000 out of 10 000 or someone loosing or having lost their job.

It is crucial to step out of this negativity and learn to think differently. It is a mental exercise you can train yourself not only to prevent further health risks but also to allow new ideas of dealing with the situation at one`s best and creating some solutions.

I teach what I call Yaduma Walking Meditation. It is a mixture of Meditation, Walking Exercise, Auto-Hypnosis and some exercises I developed. First you learn to concentrate and focus, then to consciously relax, then to choose constructive thoughts whenever you observe destructive thoughts come up. Combining mental exercise with moderate aerobic workout has a very beneficial effect on your cognitive skills.  It is fun and therefor easy and motivating to do.  However, the most beautiful experience you may have is discovering your door to inner peace. Once having experienced this and knowing, it is there, makes you calm and confident.

You won´t directly influence the stock market but your happiness, health and the probably the people around you.

Walking makes you peaceful

Scientists say that Walking exercise has a very positive impact on your mental capacities due to the crosswise movement of legs and arms. Those who practice Walking regularly know that it clears your mind. During this meditative exercise you may learn to let go of issues and possible problems that preoccupy you and give yourself a break. So you move your attention toward the very moment and release the tension. The physical movement and breathing enhances this here-and-now experience.

If meditation results difficult for you Walking can bring a similar benefit. It depends on your thinking process during the Walk. It is easy to learn new thinking and direct your focus during the Walk. You can make a major change in your overall wellbeing by learning to relax and direct your mind.

Here are some examples of former Walking Clients of mine who freed themselves from obstacles during Walking exercise and learned how to become peaceful during the Walk:

A very successful Certified Accountant with a huge office and 50+ employees suffered from serious stress symptoms with a high risk of suffering a stroke. He was in good shape, late 40ties, nobody would expect this health problem. When we first started the Walking routine his whole attention was on his staff. It almost drove him nuts. The way he described some of his employees was quite disrespectful. Being in this secure coaching relationship I could mention my surprise of how he judged his employees and that I could not believe he would talk to them in the way he said he did. Also, his business went quite well, so these people must bring some qualities in order to make this all happen. Little by little he started observing his own thinking process and the way he treated and manipulated his staff. He realized that his own behavior actually made him sick. This took only a few Walking sessions. In fact, he had to laugh about himself observing his behavior from a distance.  He soon started to realize that he could face everyday situations differently and started enjoying the beauty of nature, the physical exercise and his capacity to consciously relax his mind which ultimately saved his health.

Another client, PhD, married to the nationwide acknowledged head of the University Hospital, 2 kids, house, etc. used to compete with her husband without realizing it. She was driven to do more and better in her research in order to come up with her husbands professional reputation. However, she was not aware of. She suffered from sleeping disorders and other stress symptoms. She had walked before, yet could not relax her mind, so she came to learn that. During the first Walking sessions she became aware that she was not able to live the moment and let go of what she thought was her problem. Her thoughts cruised around her husband and her stress all the time. Observing this, I gave her feedback and suggested to take this next session to learn to focus on something else, in fact to learn to choose on what she wanted to pay her attention. In this environment you can play humorously, so I explained that none of her problems, fears and issues would go worse by not focusing on them during the next hour….. We had fun experimenting different Walking techniques, adjusting body posture, doing breathing exercises and laughing. She gave herself a break, reset and energized herself. She realized that she had the capacity to look at things differently and that her feeling about herself did not depend on her professional outcome compared to her husbands’…. She no longer identified with her professional role and her wellbeing no longer depended on it. During our Walking sessions she realized that she was much more than a well-functioning body and mind and it was up to her what she chose to focus on.

Conclusion: if you would like to enable yourself to relax consciously and experience inner peace – in a healthy way without using drugs -  WALKING is a fun, easy and effective approach    xxx

Change your thinking

If you want to change your habits you may want to change your thinking first!

Think: I hate sports and it works. You keep on hating sports.

Think: I love to experience something new. Go for a walk and observe what happens inside like a new perspective. Some may observe nervousness or resistance at the beginning and flow of easiness after some time. Make it a game like watching a new TV series. By observing your thoughts can soon choose what you want to keep in stock and what new seeds you want to plant to grow in your perception.

Release stress

Want to release stress?

RELAXATION

Focus on HOW you want to feel and HOW you would feel if you were totally free to enjoy the moment.

Take a virtual break.

Imagine you would put all your problems, fears, duties, things-to-do aside for only 5 minutes, knowing that they will still be there after your 5 minute break.

Take a deep breath. Exhale. Relax you facial muscles. Smile. Feel your body consciously. Feel which muscles are more tense and relax those muscles intentionally. Visualize how the muscles become longer each time you exhale.

Be aware that you may always take deep breaths, smiles and allow yourself to feel good.

Is Yoga for you?

Is Yoga right for you?

The only way to find out if Yoga is right for  you is DO IT!

To be honest, it took me some time before I finally realized the benefit I got from Yoga. I was trying hard to concentrate and would just not be able to do so. My mind would be somewhere else, while I was doing Yoga Asanas. I just kept on going. I started with a little daily routine of the Sun Salutation in the morning. The days when I had very little time, I would just do a few sets. Other days, I would take advantage and do more and afterwards sit down to listen to the silence, observing my busy mind’s thoughts coming and going. I guess, when I stopped criticizing myself for not being able to concentrate the way I thought I should is when I started really benefiting from Yoga. Now, I do my little routine and automatically focus on something different every day – just what I need, without planning or thinking about it.

To start Yoga you definitely want to go to Yoga classes. Choose a class where you feel comfortable with the location, the instructor and the people. There are lots of them. Have the instructor correct you and practice by yourself to get into it!

Yoga helps me to stay physically, mentally and spiritually fit, flexible and tuned in. It gives me strength in every sense.

Creativity

How can I improve my creativity?     Am I creative?

Everybody is creative. Creativity means the capacity to have ideas and the ability to create. It is a human quality. Some are better trained to use their creativity than others. Some are used to focus on other talents more than on their creativity due to their interests or education.

Creativity requires the right setting and state of mind. Relaxation techniques, self-hypnosis, physical exercise and mental coaching can improve your creativity. Observing your thoughts, limiting the“must”s and “should”s are one step. Training concentration and a big variety of inspirations promote the creative flow.
